On December 16, 2021, the Training Support and Human Resource Development Center (MOET-TSC) held an online workshop collaborating with Saigon Entrepreneur Newspaper, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and related agencies. Aimed to enhance the career prospects for graduates, the workshop promoted research, examining, and forecasting initiatives regarding demands and employment requirements for the college-educated workforce.

The workshop developed a partnership strategy between two agencies focusing on the following key aspects:

Partnering in research, examining, and forecasting the demand for human resources with university or higher degrees in multiple professions. The result will be published at Human Resource Development Annual Forum held by Saigon Entrepreneur Newspaper in November.

Developing a human resources information hub, organizing career fairs and recruitment events for graduates in the South, coordinating regional and international competitions regarding innovation, entrepreneurship, science, and technology. These events will empower Vietnamese students to develop their talent, employable skills, creativity, and proactiveness to succeed globally.

Collaborating in promoting the training quality and student employability of educational institutions, profession development trends, the labor supply and demand for graduates from Vietnamese and global institutions.

Facilitating career guidance and skill-building initiatives for students.

Assisting in promoting and delivering “Luong Van Can’s business philosophy and ethics” course for final year students.

Contributing to nominating MOET’s award recipients (individuals, organizations, businesses with significant contributions to the development of human resources and Vietnam)

Coordinating forums and workshops on creating solutions to cultivate students competencies, foster human resources development, etc.

Organizing initiatives to cultivate a reading culture for student, build and promote the Vietnamese Entrepreneur Culture Bookshelf, and facilitate book discussions between business people and students.

The workshop concluded with an agreement among participants to design a Strategic Partnership Program on multiple aspects. Next, leading agencies will identify partnership priorities to implement shortly and facilitate cooperation agreement signing. MOET-TSC and related agencies will implement the Program and report to MOET leaders.
