The Training Support and Human Resource Development Center, Minister of Education and Training (TSC), hosted an information session to present high school students with the latest updates about the market and career guidance. The session also offered training programs to cultivate vocational guidance skills for high school administration staff and teachers in Quang Ninh province.
On April 2, 2021, TSC co-hosted an information session with the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ninh. The session kept local high school students informed of critical updates on the labor market and career guidance.
Attracting 500 high school seniors in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, the event enabled students to select suitable career paths by expanding their knowledge about the current trends in the labor market and opening positions, especially in-demand ones. It encouraged high school seniors to explore multiple professions in terms of their interests, abilities, and market demands to make informed major or college decisions before taking the college entrance exam.
In addition to sharing career trends and guidance, the Department of Higher Education presented important points in college admission regulations, which helped students and teachers prepare for the college entrance exam in 2021.
Students were encouraged to raise their concerns and questions regarding college and major selection at the session. Experts and education administrators from the Department of Higher Education, Minister of Education and Training, TSC, and Career counselors from VNU’s University of Education would directly address these inquiries.
The information session successfully created a forum where students could gain access to trusted sources of information and utilize career consultation to select the most suitable careers based on their interests and abilities.
