Mr. Bui Van Linh, Director of the Training Support and Human Resources Development Centre (Ministry of Education and Training), stated during the program's launch: "The Vocational guidance – Enrollment Counseling Programme in 2022 is part of the Center's chain of activities. The center's goal is to provide meaningful and practical information to high school students in preparation for the upcoming high school graduation and college entranceexams.”
The Center hopes that the programme will serve as an important bridge in the counselling process, providing practical and effective information to help students across the country, especially grade 12 students, have a good career orientation and a foundation to choose a career and a school for themselves in the future to match their capacity and interests and meet social needs.
Mr. Bui Van Linh - Director of MOET-TSC
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of the Higher Education Department (Ministry of Education and Training), gave the following information regarding the new points of Draft university admission regulationsin 2022: Candidates will apply for university admissions online this year.Students register all admission requirements into the general enrollment support system of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Another change is that candidates apply for admission and adjust their aspirations in the same batch rather than two batches as in past years; this will take place after the high school graduation test. This offers them enough time to make the best decision for their aspirations and abilities.
Ms. Thuy also advised candidates to take note of the following information: Candidates will not have to choose a school for university admission right now, but will have to do so after the results of the high school graduation test are available. As a result, you can matriculate an aspiration to the best of your abilities. This also reduces the quantity of virtual applicants, provides fairness for candidates, and creates beneficial enrollment conditions for schools.
Because universities are independent in terms of enrollment, students must learn about enrollment methods, school prequalification, and closely adhere to the submission of documents, certifications, school requirements, and the admission process. You must complete all processes and actions if you want to change your wishes.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy also affirmed that the Ministry of Education and Training will provide students with instructional materials, as well as a video clip to guide students in practising before performing on the computer system, so that they can be confident when applying for admission and adjusting their aspirations. The Departments of Education and Training, schools, also always have teachers ready to support students.
At the programme, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thanh Nam also presented and shared his thoughts on career guidance, advised candidates to psychologically prepare for the exam, exchanged some basic principles to help students better career orientation, and provided advice to help students take care of their mental health and be in a good mood for the upcoming exam.
